Found in acai cell wall components, ferulic acid protects the plant from microbial attack and UV exposure. In turn these properties of ferulic acid, produced by acai stem cell propagation, can be transferred into cosmetic applications providing potent antioxidant activity and working as an antioxidant extender for other materials such as vitamin C. Standardised for 4.0 – 5.0% Ferulic Acid content.
