A fermentation of purslane with Lactobacillus bulgaricus. Purslane is rich in glutathione, a tripeptide with potent electron donating properties allowing for the scavenging of free radicals, and glutathione reductase. Glutathione is also capable of regenerating vitamin C and may be appropriate for maintaining vitamin C stability in formulations.
